I loved this session so much, I wanted to share Nicole’s slideshow.  I love using Animoto for senior slideshows.

Sometimes you just have to laugh…

April 27th, 2009 | Personal

I really thought I’d be sharing more photos of our new pup, Remy.  I’ve been so busy with sessions that I haven’t pulled my camera out once in the past month just for snapshots of the kids or dogs–and frankly, I’m pretty ashamed of myself.

Well, Remy gave me a good reason this morning.

My husband can vouch for the fact that as much as I’d like to think I’m laid back, I’m just not.  I get anxious about little things–things that just don’t matter in the big scheme of things.  I like things tidy and clean.  I like to keep track of our daily activities with a family calendar.  Basically I like to run a tight ship–keep everything organized.  Well, Remy decided to shake things up this morning and all I could do was laugh.  I though she was taking a bit long outside considering it was muddy and sprinkling.  I went to the door to call her in and noticed she was just sitting on the porch facing away from me.  I opened the door and called her name and she very sheepishly turned around and that’s when I saw her face.

I swear if dogs could blush, her cheeks would have been red.  She was totally embarrassed!  She wouldn’t even look me in the eyes.  This last one is my favorite.  I’d love to know what Riley’s thinking there in the background.  :)

And since I have done such a bad job with Remy photos, I thought I’d share a little collage of pics from my Blackberry (so please excuse the poor quality).  You’ll notice that Remy really enjoys sleeping on her back, feet straight up in the air.  My favorite is the photo in the middle row on the right.  She was sleeping upside down in the crack between the chair and the ottoman.  Silly, silly dog.

You’ll also notice that she loves to snuggle up with Riley.  She really loves him–and he just tolerates her.  Even when she steals his bone, he’s a complete gentleman.

Enjoy your rainy Monday!

These are so cute. You have a similar “set up” as we do as far as dogs go. We have an older male and a female puppy about the same age as yours (both are yellow labs). We actually have a chocolate female lab too who is 11 years old. Your dogs are so pretty. I need to photograph mine more.

I had so many favorites from this session, it was incredibly hard to choose.  During our session, I told Nicole that she looked a lot like Nelly Furtado, but now I’m thinking I see a little of Kristen Stewart from Twilight.  What do you think?  All I know is that she is just the cutest thing…and so darn photogenic!

April 22nd, 2009 | Babies

Even though Heather’s been my best friend since 7th grade and we only live about 40 miles from each other, I hadn’t hung out with Nicholas since his newborn session back in September.  Oh, how much he’s changed!  Just look at the difference from his birth and newborn session.  He’s such a cutie pie!

I adore this last one, but as I was editing it, I couldn’t keep from giggling.  It looks like Will Ferrell’s pose in the poster for the movie Stepbrothers.  Heather, I know you can appreciate that!

Look at this sweet girl and tell me you wouldn’t walk right in the door and go for those cheeks.  I mean seriously, have you ever seen such adorable cheeks and pout?  Maya was fairly serious for most of the shoot, but then Grandma would start doing some high kicks behind me and Maya would break out into the most hilarious giggle.  Thank you Grandma, for all your great energy and comedic skills!  :)

Okay that first picture is hysterical! What a cutie. Reminds of me Zachary when he was a baby. I think Z was even bigger than Maya!
