The Trimberger Girls

March 31st, 2009 | Children

I photographed Julia and Emily twice while they lived here in Kansas and I was thrilled to be able to see them and photograph them again while I was visiting North Carolina.  I can’t tell you how much I ADORE repeat clients…I just love to see these adorable girls grow into young ladies.  Now don’t get me wrong–they are still girls and silly as can be, but I love hanging out with them and witnessing how much they truly love each other.  Makes me wish I had a sister.  :)

The Lopez Family

March 27th, 2009 | Children, Families

I’m still here in North Carolina visiting friends and having an amazing time, but I know how swamped I’m gonna be catching up when I get home, so I’m gonna get a jump on the blogging.

Eric and Mary-Kathryn have been our dear friends for more than 10 years and now their adorable family includes Brock and Cole.  I just wish we could drag them all around with us everywhere we move!  (I wish Eric could have joined us this time.)

I know this area and it’s so perfect for this session. Beautiful, and I’m glad it wasn’t raining. I want to add that she looks familiar and it’s the “movie star/actress” familiar. Beautiful beautiful!

The Seims Family {Leavenworth Family Photographer}

March 21st, 2009 | Families

When Laura called several weeks ago about getting some family photos with their brand new editions, I was definitely game.  Especially since Bella and Kingsley are of the furry kind.  Aren’t these babies so sweet?

This is Kingsley…the mellow man with the Harley Davidson spiked leather collar.

And this is Bella…the wild woman (otherwise known as Bella Drama) with the blinged-out Swarovski crystal collar.

And these are their loving parents…

Thanks for such a fun time!

On another note, I’m heading to North Carolina tomorrow to visit some friends and shoot some sessions.  Have a great week!  ~K

Elsie {Kansas City Child Photographer}

March 20th, 2009 | Children

I love that I’ve been able to watch these little girls grow up throughout the past year.  I photographed Adela’s spring session last year, Elsie’s newborn session, and now little Elsie is 6 months old!

This time, we finally tried a few family shots–which turned out to be a very dangerous venture!  As I was taking some photos of the family on their front porch, I stepped back just a little too far into the yard–right down into a 3 foot drop off!

Thankfully I grabbed on to this little tree that saved me from going straight down and breaking my tailbone or ankle or something.  I actually walked away 100% fine, and it provided a good 5 minute giggling break.  :)
