Sweet little Elsie was one of the most gorgeous, calm babies I’ve ever worked with.  She did not cry or fuss even once.  If babies were like that all the time, I’d have five more myself!  You’ll probably remember her equally gorgeous sister, Adela, who graces my blog header above.  Adela was so funny the morning of the shoot.  After doing her part, posing with her baby sister, Grandma was to take Adela to preschool so we could get images of Elsie alone.  You see, I am Adela’s photographer, and taking photos of Elsie all by herself would just not be right.  I was given the fifth degree by Adela before she headed out the door to preschool, “But why are YOU not leaving, Kelly? We are done with our photos.”  Oh, I love these girls.

By the way, Elsie’s mom made the knitted hats that she wore during the shoot.  Aren’t they great?

I’ll be offering a new product I’m so excited about!  Custom proof boxes are here!  This gorgeous box holds up to 150 5×7 prints and can be customized with your image, your name, and your colors.  I just ordered one as a sample with my boys on the front.  Since I take so many photos of my boys, but don’t have the space to hang them all, I’ll most likely order 5×7 prints to store in the box.  These will be great for gift-giving this holiday season…especially for the grandparents!  I’ll be adding the proof box to the product list on the website this week.

I couldn’t resist just one little peek before the official sneak peek when I’ll introduce this little sweetie. 

Sweet Addy and Bella, what a fun time I had with you.  Hair bows, flowery dresses, squealing laughter, bubble chasing, and doggy watching…what a great way to spend a Saturday morning.  Although getting you both to be interested in me at the same time was sometimes tough, I did manage it a few times. 

Thank you to all the amazing ladies I met today at the FLSC Super Sign-Up!  It was so nice to meet and chat with you.  Tomorrow I’ll be holding the drawing for the $50 print credit for those of you who signed up for my mailing list, so watch the blog!  I had so many potential clients interested in scheduling for fall photo sessions, I got a little worried about availability.  This is just a reminder that if you’re looking to schedule something between now and the holidays–whether it be maternity, newborn, child, family, or seniors–please keep these things in mind:

* October and early November are my absolute busiest months.  Please schedule as soon as possible if you know you’d like a session during that time.

* If you know you’d like to order holiday cards or prints as holiday gifts, your session must be held by November 8th in order to receive your order on time. 

* I schedule sessions either for early morning or late afternoon, as these times provide the best light.  Please keep that in mind when requesting a session date.
