Foret Family Sneak Peek…and Happy Halloween!

October 31st, 2007 | Children, Families

I’m excited to share some of the photos from a session last weekend.  I think Mom walked away feeling there wouldn’t be many good family photos because, let’s face it…getting three young children to maintain their patience and composure throughout a photo shoot can be challenging!  These were some of the most adorable children I’ve seen and I’m so excited to share these great photos of them…and the family as a whole!  I really hope you love these.  I had so many good ones, it was hard to decide which to sneak peek!

Okay, now for a tribute to Halloween, since I probably won’t be able to post pictures of the boys until tomorrow, here’s one of my mom that my dad emailed me this morning.  This is what she wore to work at the bank today.  Thanks for sharing, Dad!

I should probably edit this to add, before my mother sees this, that she has stuffed her shirt.  She does not have a big old belly!  Love you, Mom!

Landers Family Sneak Peek

October 30th, 2007 | Families

This family is the reason for going to Manhattan last weekend, and they were definitely worth it!  Aren’t they gorgeous?  We’ve had this session scheduled since almost July, so I was happy to finally meet them all.  Thank you Lisa, for having me take your family photos…you have a beautiful family!

On a side note… I suspect there’s something going on with my email.  I’ve had some emails being pushed over into my spam folder and others that just haven’t reached me.  Clients and potential clients, if you email me and do not get a response within 12 hours, please give me a call.  I will usually respond within just a few hours, but after 12, you can assume I may not have received it.  I’m going to look into this problem and try to get it fixed.  Thanks!

Go Wildcats!

October 28th, 2007 | Personal

This weekend my hubby and I went to our first K-State game in 10 years!  I was already scheduled to travel to Manhattan for a photo session, so we decided to make a "date weekend" out of it, buying tickets to see the game and spend the whole weekend there with our friends, Heather and Ryan.  We were in complete bliss on Saturday at the game…a perfect 60 degrees, sunshine, awesome tailgating food, a rocking sound system right next to us, and to top it all off, we didn’t even feel OLD!  :)

Just wanted to share a few photos from the day before I get hard to work proofing two sessions from this weekend that I’ll be sneak peeking later this week.

Trimberger Family Sneak Peek

October 25th, 2007 | Children, Families

What a gorgeous blue-eyed bunch!  This family was so fun…up for anything and so loving with each other.  The girls were loving having their photos taken and sweetly snuggled with each other whenever they were photographed together.  Thank you for sharing your family with me!  I’ll have your slideshow and gallery to you next week.  Until then, here are some sneak peeks…

Workshop weekend

October 23rd, 2007 | Events

Wow, what an amazing weekend I had in Branson at the Soulographer Workshop!  I met some amazing photographers and made lots of new friends.  The talent there was out of this world.  I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned and may soon be asking for some willing models…more on that later.  You’ll want check back after the holiday rush for information on my new Fresh Faces campaign.

Until then, let me share a few photos I took of the child models from this weekend.
