The Brito Family | Ft. Hood Family Photographer

I was so happy to meet Michelle at the Ft. Hood Officer’s Spouse’s Super Sign-Up last week and  help her out with a family photo session before her oldest son heads back to college.  What a fun and good-looking family they are!  We had a good time, even though I encountered my first run-in with an ant hill.  I’m still scratching!  They were troopers and and trudged all over the CTC campus, including a quick trip to an empty field just as the sun went down.  Thanks for a wonderful time, Brito Family!

I love, love, love all of these pictures. I can’t decide which one I like best. The silhouette is just to great. What a great looking family. A chip off of my old block!!

Absolutely LOOOOVVVEEEE the one with the mom and her two boys. Great shot! The white stucco and spanish tiles made for a great background!!! Muy bueno Kelly!!!!

The Smith Family | Copperas Cove Photographer

Sit back and relax and grab a cup of joe…I went a bit overboard with the pics here.  I just loved so many of them, I had to share.  This was a great session, with a wonderful family we’ve known since Cody was a newborn.  The Army separates you, and then as it usually does, brings you back around to find each other in a new location.  Such a beautiful family, inside and out, and I was honored to capture their family photos while Chris was on R&R from Iraq.  My intention was to capture some sundown photos late in the evening, but a storm started to roll in, which created some amazing light.  I hope you love them as much as I do.

The Doherty Family | Harker Heights, TX Photographer

I adore shooting family photos while soldiers are on mid-tour leave from a deployment.  So much happiness in just getting to spend two precious weeks together.  So much appreciation for the short time they have.  So much love and so much joy…just makes my heart happy.  Meet the gorgeous Doherty family, enjoying their precious time with Daddy before he heads back for another 6 months.

The Rollins Family

Erin is one out of a handful of my closest long-time friends.  We had a lot of laughs while I was in Kansas, as we reminisced about our adventures in college.  You may remember some shots I took of her daughter, Addie, several years ago.  She’s a hard one to forget.  :)   I was thrilled to finally get images of the whole family!

This was one of those sessions that you don’t want to end.  The kids tired out a bit at the end and the humidity and mosquitoes were greeting us with a vengeance, but I really could have kept shooting until it got dark–and then I probably would have whipped out my flash!  Such a gorgeous, fun family!
